FIELD: engine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fuel supply systems of internal combustion engines. Sprayer of fuel injector includes sprayer needle 2 and sprayer housing 1. Sprayer body has at least one nozzle opening 11 for fuel flow, central hole for spray gun installation, saddle 12 in form of truncated cone, and well 13, and lower part of sprayer needle is formed by combination of three consecutive cones 21–23. First 21, counting from well, is full cone with angle of 90°, intersection of two next forms shutoff edge, and second cone 22 has opening angle larger than angle of opening of third – upper – cone by 1°30'…2°30'. Preferable value of opening angle of second cone on sprayer needle is 60°10', and preferable difference of opening angles of second 22 and third 23, counting from well 13, cones on sprayer needle is 1°50'.
EFFECT: proposed sprayer design allows improving fuel injection.
