FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: piston machine is intended for use in machine building as a motor, compressor or pump. Proposed machine comprises casing accommodating drive shaft, cylinders and pistons with central bores to receive axles with channels filled with working medium. Pistons can rotate and reciprocate relative to cylinders. On outer surface of pistons there are closed longitudinal screw grooves, in which there are leashes protruding beyond helical grooves. Parts of leashes are fixed. Torque is transmitted to pistons and therefrom via splined joints ensuring free movement of pistons along cylinder axes. On inner surface of axial hole of pistons there are longitudinal channels providing during piston rotation to their alignment with appropriate channels made in piston axis, supply of working medium into cylinders and its displacement from them along preset cycle. Arrangement of the longitudinal channels, their length, width and depth are related to the shape, position, number of helical grooves made on the cylindrical surface of the piston, and volumetric characteristics of the piston machine. In the housing there are channels filled with working medium for injection and displacement of working medium from the machine. Each piston is put on its axis, cylinders, pistons and axes of pistons are arranged in the housing axially relative to the axis of the drive shaft. Drive shaft is fixed in housing with possibility of rotation around its axis. Gear wheel kinematically connected with gears fitted on pistons is fixed on drive shaft. These gears are kinematically connected to pistons through spline joints providing for transfer to pistons or removal of torque from them.
EFFECT: increased power, torque, efficiency, as well as efficiency of piston machine at its operation in pump-compressor mode.
