FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed pump comprises housing with inner cylindrical chamber closed by cover and accommodating piston separating said chamber into pumping and displacing chambers. There is a cylindrical chamber inside the piston to accommodate a hollow drive shaft spline-jointed with the piston and pump capacity control plunger with central bore. Said plunger seats partially inside drive shaft chamber and locked in housing cover to reciprocate along piston axis. Drive shaft end face surface and plunger form high-pressure combustion chamber in stepped cylindrical chamber of the piston. The piston outer cylindrical surface has lengthwise closed helical groove accommodating dogs with their extending part locked by ring fitted inside the housing to turn therein. Channels communicating with working chambers and comprising suction and bypass valves are arranged inside the housing, in cover and piston.
EFFECT: simplified design, simple fuel control system allowing use with multi-cylinder engines and electronic fuel injection control.
