FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: determination of the limit value of energy, which can be used in a useful manner in a thermodynamic process, and optimum values of thermal and energy efficiency of monothermal plants at simultaneous operation of a heat pump and a thermal engine is carried out at the design stage and displayed in thermodynamic diagrams using graphical calculations and using an automated design system. From the total exergy, used by energy converter, determined by thermodynamic characteristic of working medium and thermodynamic cycle of power converter for a certain period of time, subtracts exergy of electric power consumed by converter during same period of time.

EFFECT: method provides determination of heat exergy of medium as a renewable energy source.
