FIELD: grinding; polishing.
SUBSTANCE: method for cleaning stainless steel from scale includes placing a device for cleaning from scale, having wheels configured to advance means for removing scale about sheet metal, so, that scale removal devices moved from one wheel, in fact, do not interact with scale removal devices moved from another wheel. Scale removal devices, moved from each wheel, pass through the entire width of the longitudinal section of the sheet metal, and the wheels are located next to opposite side edges, which set the width of the sheet metal, wherein the sheet metal is centred between the wheels. At least one device is installed from devices for cleaning from scale into pushing/drawing processing line for sheet metal and processing sheet metal from stainless steel in said line to remove substantially all scale from stainless steel strip surfaces using scale removal device.
EFFECT: disclosed is a method of cleaning stainless steel from scale.
