FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hose clamps used for connection of flexible hose to stiffer pipe or component. Hose clamp includes a belt and a drive worm mechanism. Belt has set of slots located between first and second circumferential ends of belt. Drive worm mechanism is connected to the tape and makes the tape radially compressed to tighten the belt. Drive worm mechanism includes screw, which engages with set of slots for radial compression of belt.
EFFECT: to maintain seal between hose clamp and underlying hose when using hose clamp and at expansion and compression of underlying hose, caused, for example, by temperature fluctuations, there is a design of recovery of clamping force.
