FIELD: biochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biochemistry. Described is a group of inventions comprising an isolated antibody or a functional fragment thereof which binds to a sialylated Lewisa antigen, isolated polynucleotide coding a heavy chain of said antibody or its functional fragment, recovered polynucleotide encoding a light chain of said antibody or functional fragment thereof, a conjugate which binds to a sialylated Lewisa antigen, containing said antibody or its functional fragment, a pharmaceutical composition for treating a disease, a method of treating or preventing a disease, wherein said disease is malignant or tumour formation with cells, expressing sialylated Lewesa antigen, and a method for tumour detection in a patient, involving administering said conjugate.
EFFECT: invention extends range of agents for binding with sialylated Lewisa antigen.
