SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to tooling for mechanical treatment of annular groove of gas turbine engine housing. Tooling comprises a processing tool, a support plate, first means for positioning a processing tool relative to the support plate along a first axis forming a radial axis, second means for positioning the processing tool relative to the support plate along the second axis, perpendicular to the first axis and extending along the axis of the groove and the annular housing, and third positioning means configured to position the support plate in the axial and radial directions relative to the housing groove.
EFFECT: enabling machining of worn-out sections of the gas turbine housing directly under the aircraft wing without dismantling the engine.
