FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device for hole plugging made in the cover wall of a gear box of drives in a gas turbine engine provides access to the rotating shaft configured to enter tightly into the hole and fasten to the wall by fastening elements. At that, two cylindrical parts in the device are slidably connected to each other coaxially with the hole. A first part is arranged to be placed in a static manner in the hole, a second part is arranged to be fixed on the wall by means of fastening elements and is subject to the action of an elastic means which is provided between the joined parts and tending to axially remove the second part from the wall. A gear box of drives is also provided.
EFFECT: invention eliminates the risk that the engine will work with inserted but poorly secured plugging device.
