FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for electric cleaning of gases from fine dust. Electrode is made of two identical metal sheets superimposed on each other and interconnected by spot welding with thickness of not more than 2 mm with part of each sheet U-shaped in longitudinal direction along its middle and fixed points of corona discharge in form of needles located on longitudinal sides of each sheet. Needles are made by removing part of sheet material, are formed with overlapping by two arcs of curves, having the shape of circular arcs with radius, which enables to obtain sharp end of needle, and bent together with sheet edges at angle of 90° up to 130° to sheet plane. Sheets are arranged in connection to outside by convex side of U-shaped bent part.
EFFECT: improved reliability of structure, efficiency of gas cleaning due to stability of shape of electric fields and rigidity of electrode, simplified fabrication.
