ELECTRIC PRECIPITATOR Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

Abstract RU 2234378 C1

FIELD: heat power engineering; construction materials industry; metallurgy; chemical industry; cleaning of dusty gases.

SUBSTANCE: the invention presents an electric precipitator that is dealt with field of cleaning of dusty gases with electric precipitators and may be used in heat power engineering, construction materials industry, metallurgy, a chemical industry. The electric precipitator includes: a housing, precipitation electrodes; placed between them in rows corona-forming electrodes, each of which represents a hollow tube located upright and having an ellipse shaped cross-section with the lengthy axis located perpendicularly to the plates of precipitation electrodes, and a short axis - in parallel to them. Along the hollow pipe on both sides of it in direction of the short axis of an ellipse in the plane in parallel to the precipitation electrodes there are triangular shaped blades mounted, with the apex split by a bisectrix. The split parts are bent off aside in direction of the precipitation electrodes making a right angle with them. During mounting the electrodes are positioned in such a manner that the space between the bents of the blades on the different sides of one and the same pipe should be equal to the space between the bents of the adjacent pipes and directed to each other blades. The hollow pipes are installed between the corona-forming electrodes and are equally spaced from them. In result the overall performance of the electric precipitator is improved.

EFFECT: the invention allows to improve overall performance of the electric precipitator.
