FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lighting engineering. Tubular lamp comprises elongated light source (10) and tubular case (18) around light source. Housing (20) for forming an optical beam is provided in the housing. It has effective focal distance in the plane perpendicular to the axis along the length, which varies depending on the angular position around the optical beam generating device. Effective focal distance is greater for light in the direction of the optical axis of the light output than for the light output sideways along the sides of the optical axis of the light output. This means formation of a beam, for example, collimation is greater at the edges of the light output beam than in the middle, therefore within the output beam the light is mixed.
EFFECT: technical result is conversion of wide angle of Lambert into collimated beam, as well as in averaging of colour differences depending on direction of light flux.
