FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the ship building, particularly, to the bossings design, displaced to the propeller shafts sides in aft of surface single-hull high-speed ships. Sideboard propeller shafts bossing in the aft of single-hull high-speed displacement ship structure is formed by the surfaces of rotation, each of which axis of rotation lies in plane passing through the shaft line axis perpendicular to the diametral plane (DP). Axis of rotation consists of three sections, first of which, the aft one, coincides with the shaft line axis, third, the bow one, by the nose edge is inclined to the sideboard in the range of α = 1–5° relative to DP (via flow lines), and the second one is the first and the third sections smooth conjugation in the area of the shaft line axis input into the hull.
EFFECT: enabling increase in the ship speed, increase in the stability on course and increase in the propellers cavitation characteristics.
