FIELD: construction of railways.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to design of track superstructure, in particular, to reinforced concrete sleepers for insulating joints of signal current. Reinforced concrete sleeper is made whole-armored, prestressed, string-concrete with one or several channels. Said channels are arranged parallel with lengthwise axis along length of sleeper. Channels can be made either in the center of the end part, or in the lower trapezoidal part of the end face, or on the sleeper sides. Channels can be made of plastic or metal pipe. On sleeper sides of the channels are made open or closed.
EFFECT: higher reliability of rail circuits of signal current.
