SUBSTANCE: invention relates to filler system for filling trays with rod-like articles. Filling system (7, 7A) of machine used in tobacco industry for filling trays (6) with rod-shaped products (3), which are distributed from dispenser (5), wherein filling system (7, 7A) comprises filling mechanism (11) comprising rotary rollers (13) for facilitating passage of rod-shaped articles (3) having an axis parallel to axis of rotary rollers (13), from dispenser (5) into tray (6), wherein tray (6) is located under dispenser (5); at that, adjacent rotating rollers (13) are located relative to each other with possibility to supply rod-shaped products (3) vertically between adjacent rotating rollers (13); and locking mechanism (12, 12A) for blocking passage of rod-shaped articles (3) from dispensing device (5) into tray (6), wherein locking mechanism (12, 12A) comprises pressing elements (19) located between rotating rollers (13), moving in direction of axes of rotating rollers (13) and same axis as rod-like products (3), between locked position, in which pressing elements (19) are located at first distance (L1), not exceeding length (L) of rod-shaped products (3), from rear wall (10) of dispenser (5) and are configured to press rod-shaped articles (3) to rear wall (10) of dispenser (5) to block the distribution of rod-shaped articles (3) from dispensing device (5) into tray (6); and unlocked position, in which pressing elements (19) are located at second distance (L2), exceeding length (L) of rod-shaped products (3), from back wall (10) of dispenser (5).
EFFECT: creation of alternative design of filling system of machine for filling trays with rod-shaped products, which would allow accurate location of highest layer of articles.
