SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Disclosed is an implant for treating cartilage injuries, cartilage damage or osteochondral defects, comprising a polymer material forming a matrix, and an anabolic drug. Polymer material is collagen. Anabolic drug is included in the matrix forming polymer material. Matrix represents two-phase frame or bilayer membrane. Anabolic drug represents compound FGF-18. Said implant comprises said FGF-18 in amount of 30–200 mcg. Also disclosed is a method for producing the implant and a method of treating cartilage injuries involving a stage of administering the implant to a patient.
EFFECT: technical result is obtaining an implant for treating a patient suffering such a cartilage involvement, as osteoarthritis, cartilage damage or osteochondral defects.
