FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to a method for obtaining a transplant - tissue-engineered perichondrium based on cell spheroids. The method involves isolating cells from the perichondrium of a subject, culturing them in an adhesive culture, followed by transferring them into microwells made of non-adhesive plastic, where the cells aggregate into spheroids, which are transferred to decellularized donor perichondrium and cultured on its surface, which ensures the fusion of spheroids with each other and their penetration into the matrix of the perichondrium.
EFFECT: invention is effective for obtaining a graft in form of bioartificial perichondrium, which has a pronounced regenerative potential, and for initiating a biomimetic method of reparative regeneration of cartilage under the periosteum, where instead of periosteum its living tissue-engineered equivalent is used.
