FIELD: biomedicine; biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a tissue-engineered perichondrium graft for cartilage restoration of a subject, comprising a scaffold and living cells, characterized by that the scaffold is represented by a layer of donor decellularized perichondrium, on upper part of which there are cell spheroids, represented by three-dimensional aggregates in the form of spheres, consisting of contacting with each other autologous pre-cultured adhesive cells of cambial layer of perichondrium in amount of 8,000 cells per spheroid, partially fused to each other and immersed in the scaffold, the construct is coated from above with a layer of gel based on hyaluronic acid with suramin-containing liposomes with thickness of 250–500 mcm.
EFFECT: invention provides restoration of cartilage structure and shape at the site of posttraumatic cartilage defects due to initiation of reparative regeneration of cartilage tissue.
