FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: linear actuator comprises engine with output shaft and housing accommodating screw mechanism and ball mechanism to compensate for undesirable load. Screw mechanism includes a lead screw, a nut interacting with it and a retractable rod concentrically located around at least part of the lead screw and connected to the specified nut. Screw mechanism is connected to the motor so that rotation of its output shaft causes axial movement of the nut and sliding rod relative to the housing. In the linear actuating mechanism rotation of the lead screw causes axial movement of the nut and the sliding rod relative to the body. Ball-type mechanism for compensation of undesirable load is formed by at least two longitudinal guide grooves on inner surface of housing, at least, two response longitudinal guide grooves on outer surface of sliding rod and ball separator with, at least, two rows of cells arranged opposite said guide grooves. Balls rolling the surfaces of said guide grooves are arranged in cells with possibility of free rotation.
