FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: linear actuator is designed for reciprocating movement of a movable work table. On guide block (76), which is part of guiding unit (16), on its lower surface facing main housing of cylinder (12), is formed by a pair of grooves circulation (80) of balls, and in grooves of circulation (80) of balls is multiple balls (58). On both end faces of guide block (76) are fitted respectively covering paired blocks (78a, 78b). Paired ball holders (82a, 82b), which are formed in form of grippers are engaged with cover units (78a, 78b) at introduction of holders in grooves of circulation (80) of balls and balls (58) are retained. Paired cover plates (86a, 86b) are installed on end surfaces of following units (78a, 78b), and gripping cover holders (84a, 84b) are installed so as to retain cover plates (86a, 86b), cover units (78a, 78b) and guide unit (76), connecting them together.

EFFECT: simplification of design.
