SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering. The linear actuator includes a linear actuator having a body of the linear actuator and a movable element of the linear actuator moving relative to the body of the linear actuator, and also includes an external guide located along the direction of movement of the movable element of the linear actuator, and a linear drive carriage that can move along the guide by sliding or rolling, but cannot move in transverse directions, and also includes a latch fixed to the guide. The body of the linear actuator and the movable element of the linear actuator are independently of each other mechanically connected to the external guide, one of them through the latch, and the other through the linear drive carriage.
EFFECT: increased compactness of the drive with increased resistance to lateral mechanical loads.
