SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hair strand curl device (1) comprising gripping device (2), body (10) attached to gripping means and having inner wall (13), wherein said housing (10) comprises rod (12), substantially surrounded by inner wall (13), insertion hole (15) for strand, wherein said inlet opening (15) is formed through inner wall (13), and outlet opening (16) for curl, wherein said outlet hole (16) is formed through inner wall (13) on rod (12) free end, winding device (17, 17'), driven in rotation around rod (12), which is intended for winding of hair strand around rod (12). In compliance with this invention, said winding device (17, 17') comprises hollow body (21, 21') having a body surface of revolution surrounding rod (12) at least partially along its length to form together with it inner winding chamber (40) of hollow body (21, 21'), from which curled strand can extend from device (1) through said outlet hole (16), forming, together with inner wall (13), external to hollow body (21, 21') winding chamber (50), in which a strand of hair is introduced through inlet hole (15).

EFFECT: providing an apparatus to buckle allowing effective treatment of the hair.
