FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electromechanical traction modules. Electromechanical traction module comprises traction motor with liquid cooling, planetary onboard reduction gear and brake with hydraulic or electrohydraulic control located coaxially with drive sprocket of caterpillar track. Traction module is arranged on outer side of machine body bead or with its partial arrangement in machine body above its bottom. Its outer surface, having the shape of a cylinder, a composite cylinder, a truncated cone or a combination thereof, does not protrude beyond the outer edge of the caterpillar. Brake made by drum or multidisc friction can be used either as parking brake with implementation of working braking of caterpillar machine by traction motors, or as working brake. Systems for lubrication, cooling and / or filtration of working fluid of traction motor, bead reduction gear and brake can be combined. Traction motor can be attached to onboard reduction gear and is made without shell or with thin-walled shell. Mechanical bolt or welded connection of traction module to board of caterpillar vehicle is carried out through support shell attached to onboard reducer. Brake can be located between traction motor and onboard reduction gear, arranged inside traction motor, connected with free end of its shaft opposite to reduction gear, or connected with drive, intermediate or driven shaft of onboard reduction gear.

EFFECT: higher traction power of electromechanical traction module of caterpillar vehicle without reducing its clearance.
