FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to self-propelled machines. Electromechanical transmission of self-propelled machine with internal combustion engine includes traction generator connected to engine, traction motor, power electronic converter, as well as braking resistor converting electric power in power busbars into thermal energy under control of braking resistor controller. Braking resistor is cooled by transfer of heat energy from it to component part of self-propelled machine, and / or non-conductive working fluid of self-propelled machine, and / or system of microclimate maintenance in cabin.
EFFECT: reduced length of self-propelled machine, reduced size of transmission and simplified assembly.
