FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to laser engineering and a method of producing a sequence of identical femtosecond pulses. Method involves separating laser radiation into two parts, one of which is transmitted to a photodetector, where a signal with a repetition frequency of the pulses is picked up, which is mixed with a signal of the synthesizer of the pulse repetition frequency and is transmitted to a phase lock unit for repetition of laser pulses. Second portion of the radiation is transmitted to the f-2f-interferometer, from where the signal at the shift frequency of the comb is fed to the input of the phase frequency shift unit. Signal from the output of the master synthesizer is transmitted to the input of the frequency synthesizer of the intensity modulator, the output signal of which is transmitted through the phase shifter to the controlled pulse generator, which generates the control signal of the intensity modulator, to the optical input of which the laser radiation is supplied. Intensity modulator passes each k-th pulse, in which phase difference between envelope and carrier will be constant.

EFFECT: technical result consists in obtaining a sequence of identical pulses with possibility of selecting a given phase difference between the carrier and the envelope.
