METHOD FOR OBTAINING A SEQUENCE OF IDENTICAL FEMTOSECOND PULSES FOR ARBITRARY SPECTRUM WIDTH EMISSION Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC G02F1/01

Abstract RU 2760624 C1

FIELD: lasers.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of laser equipment and pertains to a method for obtaining a sequence of identical femtosecond pulses for arbitrary spectrum width emission. The method consists in the fact that laser emission is divided by a mirror into two parts, a signal with a pulse repetition frequency is isolated and mixed with the signal of the reference pulse repetition frequency synthesiser and supplied to the phase binding unit. The emission passed through the first mirror is divided into two parts. The first part of the emission is supplied to the input of the intensity modulator and the second part is passed through a Fabry-Pérot interferometer, the length whereof is scanned to a value of the order of the wavelength. The emission passed through the interferometer is supplied to a photodetector, the signal whereof is supplied to the input of the data collection and processing unit, the signal from the output whereof with a frequency equal to the frequency comb shift of Δ is supplied to the frequency comb shift phase binding unit, the other input whereof is supplied with a signal at a frequency of Δ0 from the comb shift binding frequency synthesiser, thus conducting phase binding of the frequency shift Δ to the frequency Δ0.

EFFECT: provided possibility of obtaining a sequence of identical pulses with the possibility of selecting a preset phase difference between the carrier and the envelope for arbitrary spectrum width emission.
