FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: device for selective control of amount of paint applied by printing machine on cylinders and tubes used for decorating metal container, comprises a paint assembly comprising a paint roller with a plurality of axial sections, a paint tank and drive mechanisms coupled to each of the axial sections, wherein each drive mechanism is configured to control the amount of paint transferred from the paint tank to the ink roller axial portion, molding cylinder, which includes printing plates in a given orientation relative to the ink roller, so that the printing plates are configured to receive at least part of the ink from the ink roller, offset cylinder including transfer rubber-fabric webs in preset orientation relative to the printing cylinder so that the transfer rubber-textile web is configured to receive at least part of the ink from one of the printing plates, the supporting element with multiple sockets for receiving metal containers, wherein the supporting member is configured to receive the metal container from the conveyor and move the metal container into contact with the transfer rubber-fabric web to transfer at least part of the paint from the transfer rubber-textile web to the metal container, to form decoration on outer surface of metal container, at least one sensor for obtaining data on decorating the outer surface of the metal container and a control system configured to receive data from at least one sensor and determining whether the decoration has a defect, wherein, if the decoration has a defect, the control system is configured to send a signal to the drive mechanism to change the amount of ink transmitted to the ink roller axial section.

EFFECT: disclosed is a device for selective control of amount of paint.
