FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of propulsion engineering. The substance of the invention consists in the fact that in process of operation of an internal combustion engine comprising a cylinder with a piston and spark plugs, an energy pulse is sent to spark plugs in each cylinder at the moment of piston location below UDP. At the same time they continue to send energy pulses to each spark plug, and after ignition of the fuel in the chamber of the appropriate cylinder to completion of the exhaust phase in the appropriate cylinder. Spark plugs may be laser.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and reliability.
