FIELD: measurement technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of thermometry. Method of temperature monitoring in water-filled wells with the help of a string of temperature sensors lowered into the well. To prevent temperature fluctuations caused by free heat convection, before installation in the well to the string of temperature sensors, a cylindrical sleeve is attached from the stretchable polymer mesh, in which there are spherical granules of hydrogel, which when installing the string in the water-filled well increase in size, stretching the grid to fill the entire space of the well in the measurement interval.
EFFECT: simplification of technology, higher accuracy of temperature measurements due to suppression of temperature oscillations caused by free heat convection.
