FIELD: hydraulic engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to marine equipment and can be used in stations for complex monitoring of dynamics of water environment, its chemical and biological control. Proposed device comprises ballast tank, power supply unit and control and measurement unit. Cyclic surfacing and submersion are carried out due to cyclic electrolysis of sea water, which decomposes into hydrogen and oxygen, which fill electrolysis products with self-contained ballast tanks with gas. For efficiency and safety of the process, a flat cathode in the form of a solid cylinder and an anode in the form of a torus of rectangular section are placed separately in the lower parts of the ballast tanks by means of displacement of sea water through lower openings, which does not participate in electrolysis with closed upper valves, creating positive buoyancy due to products of electrolysis of sea water of hydrogen and oxygen for lifting to surface. For immersion with disconnected electrolysis, upper valves and lower holes are used in open position to fill all cavities with sea water.
EFFECT: enabling water environment probing practically to any depth and simplifying the system design ensuring its durability.
