FIELD: electrical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the electrical equipment. Synchronous machine with excitation from permanent magnets comprises stator, in which stator winding is arranged, and rotor, which is capable of rotation around axis of rotation, in which there are permanent magnets. Rotor is connected with motor shaft via connecting device. Connecting device is designed so that it first connects rotor without turning with engine shaft, so that torque generated by interaction of stator winding and permanent magnets is transmitted to engine shaft. Besides, the connecting device is designed so that it in case of short circuit of the stator winding automatically opens the connection without rotor turning so that the torque acting on the engine shaft is no longer transmitted to the rotor.
EFFECT: simple and reliable way of preventing torque transfer from motor shaft to rotor of synchronous machine with excitation from permanent magnets in case winding short-circuited.
