FIELD: transport industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a bogie of a rail vehicle. The bogie of a rail vehicle contains at least a wheelset, a wheelset bearing assembly inside both wheels, a traction motor and an aerodynamic fairing of the bogie. The traction motor is made with the possibility of direct driving of the wheelset. Moreover, the traction motor is a synchronous motor excited by permanent magnets with a device for liquid cooling. Moreover, the device with a jacket for liquid cooling is located between the rear side of the stator of the traction motor and the outside air supply channels of the internal cooling circuit. A rail vehicle is also claimed, in particular a high-speed bogie train.
EFFECT: technical result consists in providing efficient heat removal from the engine even with an aerodynamic fairing of the bogie.
