FIELD: safety devices.
SUBSTANCE: fuse converter of firing modes is installed in the barrel of the weapon, includes a selector with control elements in the form of flags located on both sides of the breech frame, and a safety shield installed on the axis. Additionally, a cam interacting with a mating shaped slot of the safety shield is made with the possibility of forming a cam mechanism. Cam can be made on a safety lock or on a flag. Selector may be made integral with flag.
EFFECT: improved serviceability, increased safety of weapon operation, possibility of switching of firing modes without detachment of hand from gun control handle both from left side and from right side of weapon.
