SUBSTANCE: left-hand safety lock for small arms based on a Kalashnikov assault rifle is installed in the receiver and contains a thrust washer (2), a figured rocker arm (3), an elongated axis (4) of the trigger (5), a flag (7) with a boss (6), a fixing spring (9). The figured rocker arm (3) contains a projection (11), two threaded pins (12), one of which is equipped with a flat (13), is located between the walls of the receiver (1) and is fixed to one wall by a screw connection (10) by means of a thrust washer (2 ), and to the other - by means of the flag (7) and the fixing spring (9) by fitting on the flat (13) of the threaded pin (12) of the figured rocker arm (3) with fastening with a nut. The flag (7) with the lug (6) is located on the left side of the outer wall of the receiver, contains a sector groove (8) and is configured to interact with the elongated axis (4) of the trigger (5) by means of the sector groove (8) and to restrict movement, at the same time, in the working position for left-handers, the flag (7) is a figured corner with the location of the boss (6) in the upper left corner and is designed to rotate counterclockwise, and for right-handed people, the flag (7) is a figured corner with the location of the boss (6) in the lower right corner and is designed to be rotated clockwise.

EFFECT: ability to control the fuse on the left side without taking your hand off the control handle of the weapon, both with the index finger of the left hand (for left-handed people) and with the thumb of the right hand (for right-handers), installing the fuse on serial samples of weapons based on the Kalashnikov assault rifle without making irreversible changes into the weapon.
