SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to oral care. Composition, which is a two-phase mouth rinse, contains a carrier acceptable for oral use, containing a hydrophilic phase and a hydrophobic phase; blue dye and/or blue pigment, having a color ranging from blue to blue-violet with a color tone angle according to the CIELAB system of about 200 degrees to about 320 degrees; and where blue dye and/or blue pigment contains from 0.0010 wt% to 0.0018 wt% blue patented V dye, and 0.00004 wt% to 0.00012 wt% D&C green No. 6; and a zinc salt containing from 0.25 wt% to 0.30 wt% zinc lactate; and cetylpyridinium chloride; where all weight percentages are determined based on total weight of composition. Also disclosed is a method for teeth whitening.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides high retention of dye on enamel surface.
