FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture, namely to the field of soil condition study, can be used in agriculture for sampling soil from different depths and conducting research on some of its physical and mechanical and chemical properties. Method consists in the fact that the analyzed field mapping is performed first. Mapping consists in compiling a field contour, dividing the field area into separate elementary areas, calculating coordinates of said sections and sampling points in said sections taking into account the shape of the field contour, parameters and orientation of the coordinate grid, concentration of sampling points. Coordinates of said points are calculated automatically, based on developed theoretical relationships. Mapping result is an electronic field map which serves as the initial program task for one or more devices – robotic samplers.
EFFECT: improved method of sampling soil by automating field mapping and designing a robotic device for its implementation.
