FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to valve drives, particularly, to drives suitable for, first of all, for gas valves with safety interlocking function. Drive (10) has electric motor (12), first of all it is a step electric motor, which opens and, if necessary, also closes valve (11) through transmission mechanism (15). For operation of electric motor (12) there is power supply device (19) as a component part of valve drive (10). Under certain circumstances, it has an input rectifier circuit and connected to it buffer device (24), for example, in the form of capacitor C. From voltage accumulated by capacitor C control circuit (25) of electric motor receives energy for operation of electric motor (12). To prevent valve (11) keeping in open position for too long after disconnection of supply voltage at input (20), disconnecting device (34) is provided, which upon termination of voltage supply to input (20) interrupts energy flow from voltage buffer device (24) to electric motor (12).
EFFECT: design of a valve drive, which can be used in a wide range of voltages and provides holding of specified maximum values of closing time.
