FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, particularly to high-frequency devices for powering surgical instrument. Device has a step-up converter for converting AC voltage into intermediate circuit voltage and to supply a DC intermediate circuit, power supply which is connected to an intermediate inverter circuit and a transformer, primary winding of which is connected to inverter, and secondary winding is intended for load power supply, a control device connected to step-up converter through circuit for controlling power factor correction, and a power control circuit connected to power supply unit by means of digital communication interface. Method of operating power load is carried out during operation of device.
EFFECT: invention improves performance of surgical instrument.
