FIELD: acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of protection against acoustic noise caused by operating ventilation systems in residential premises and in mobile objects. Device for active damping of acoustic noise in ventilation channels comprises loudspeaker (1) arranged in housing (3), emitting surface of which is located flush in opening (4) of wall of ventilation channel (2) perpendicular to its axis, pressure receptacle (5) located near the radiating surface of loudspeaker (1) electrically connected by a feedback circuit comprising series-connected preamplifier (6) with an electrically controlled transmission coefficient, compensator (7) and inverting power amplifier (8) connected to loudspeaker (1). Diameters of holes in housing of loudspeaker and ventilation channel are identical, and pressure receiver (5) is located inside housing (3) of loudspeaker (1).
EFFECT: higher efficiency of noise suppression in ventilation channel due to higher signal-to-noise ratio when measuring resultant noise of ventilation system and loudspeaker signal.
