FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to couplers for vehicles. Vehicle electrical outlet closure system comprises an electric drive mechanically coupled with the cover and a computer comprising a processor and memory storing instructions executed by the processor. Vehicle comprises electric socket including housing to be installed on outer side of vehicle, multiple electric contacts in housing and cover to turn thereto. Computer is programmed to actuate an electrical receptacle mounted on the outer side of the vehicle to close it when determining that the vehicle speed exceeds a predetermined threshold value that the cover is open, and that the electrical receptacle is in the electrically uncoupled state. Also disclosed are two embodiments of computer and method of closing electric socket of vehicle.
EFFECT: technical result consists in protection of electrical outlet of vehicle.
