Instructions executed by the processor drive the propulsion unit of the vehicle in single-fuel mode when the step is extended, determining first value of fuel economy of vehicle after extension of footboard and determining that step is functioning, when the first fuel economy value is below the vehicle fuel economy calculated value by at least a first predetermined threshold value.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of vehicle control.
