DEVICE FOR POSITIONAL SENSING OF MOVABILITY OF FINGERS OF AN ARTIFICIAL HAND Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61F2/54 A61F2/70

Abstract RU 2702304 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Device for positional sensing of movability of fingers of an artificial hand comprises a base with longitudinal grooves, in which contact elements of two activators are inserted with possibility of longitudinal movement, kinematically by means of running nuts connected to a drive screw hinged on the base. One end of lead screw has right thread and the second has left thread. Contact elements of activators are spring-loaded. Lead screw is connected to the microelectro drive fixed on the base. Device comprises activator displacement sensor, wherein in the actuators microelectrodrive control channel of the first finger of an artificial hand and the activators displacement sensor, which is a feedback sensor, are connected to the adder input, at the output of which first and second pulse converters are connected, connected to power amplifier, which output is connected to electric drive of activators movement. Base is made in the form of an elastic thin-walled collar installed on the shoulder link. Lead screw is flexible and consists of two parts. Each part of the screw is made in the form of coiled turns to a coil of rigid springs of the right and left directions with pre-tensioning of turns. Middle part of lead screw is articulated with support body rigidly fixed on cuff. Screw ends are fixed hingedly in the end supports also fixed on the cuff. Running nuts of activators are made with thread corresponding to size and direction of coiling of lead screw springs. On the outer side of the device on the support housing there is a resilient limiting protective casing having the shape of a cuff and acting as a guide activator. Casing edges are connected to end supports with possibility of compensation of varying sizes at change of collar diameter, and cuff ends are secured with Velcro fastener. Drive assembly is placed outside the cuff and fixed on the forearm case. Drive assembly is made in the form of support platform, on which additional end support is fixed, with which output shaft of motor-reducer, which is fixedly fixed on support platform, is hingedly connected. Output shaft of the motor-reducer is kinematically connected to the axis of the activator displacement sensor in the form of a rotary potentiometer by means of a gear downshift. Output shaft of drive is connected by flexible shaft with lead screw of device and freely arranged in flexible guide, which is fixed on one side with end support of collar, and on other side - with end support of drive unit.

EFFECT: invention provides higher accuracy of control actions and facilitation of disabled operator convenience when performing purposeful self-service actions and putting on a prosthesis.
