FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering, particularly, to helicopter power plants. Helicopter multi-engine power system comprises gas turbine engines (1 ,2) connected to power transmission box (3), and onboard low-DC voltage onboard circuit (7) for feeding helicopter devices during flight. Multi-engine power system of the helicopter comprises one hybrid gas turbine engine (1) configured to operate in at least one standby mode during an established flight of the helicopter, electrical unit (20) for quick restart of said hybrid gas turbine engine for its exit from said standby mode and its transition to a mode in which it outputs mechanical power, and at least two sources (4, 16, 18) of electric power supply of onboard network (7). Said restart unit (20) is connected to said onboard network (7).
EFFECT: possibility to switch helicopter into more efficient phase of flight by switching one engine to standby mode without increasing weight of power system.
