SUBSTANCE: invention relates to combination of portable device with tactile warning and vehicle warning system. Control system for vehicle driver warning comprises: a controller configured to communicate with a portable device having a tactile mechanism, via a mobile telephone paired with the controller and the portable device, and in response to a warning event detected by the vehicle, to output a signal to the mobile telephone to activate the tactile mechanism. Vehicle comprises a vehicle subsystem and a controller configured to communicate with a portable device configured to detect a pulse rate and having a tactile mechanism which generates vibration through a mobile telephone paired with a controller and a portable device, and outputting the signal to the mobile telephone to actuate the tactile mechanism in response to receiving a warning event formed by the vehicle subsystem.
EFFECT: creation of improved safety system for vehicle.
