Controller (104) is configured to receive from sensor (206-A, 206-B, 206-C, 206-D) an indication of an object in rear seat (204-D, 204-C) and transmit in response to indication information on pointing to an object on rear seat (204-D, 204-C) on mobile device (152) to cause device (152) to send a command to portable device (202). Command includes instructions regarding warning signal on portable device (202). Disclosed also are warning systems on object in vehicle.
