FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in creation of control surfaces of aircrafts in the form of ailerons, height and direction rudders, as well as in shipbuilding. Surface of control comprises its rotation mechanism around axis of rotation and device to reduce articulated torque, at that device for reduction of articulated torque is made in form of medium-permeable section with holes or slot-like cutouts located in range of 2 % to 30 % of the length of the middle chord of the control surface from its trailing edge, wherein the area of the holes or slot-like cutouts ranges from 30 % to 90 % of the area of the permeable section.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at simplification of the design.
