FIELD: hand tools.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to reversible switches. Key includes a handle and a holder located on the handle, in which there is a unit for transfer of torque. Assembly includes internal driven element with inner support surface turned outward, and external drive element with outer supporting surface facing inwards. At the same time driven and driving elements are located around common axis of rotation and at distance from each other with formation of channels. Assembly includes selector switch, motion transmission device and roller supports arranged in channels. Roller bearings can displace between tightening position, in which roller bearings fix support elements together for rotation of holder for tightening, and position for loosening, in which roller supports fix support elements together for rotation of holder for loosening. At that, holder is made with possibility of rotation in direction opposite to rotation relative to tightening and for loosening with provision of releasing roller supports for free movement of holder during rotation in opposite direction. Selector switch and motion transmission device are configured to be actuated to displace the roller supports between the tightening positions and to be weakened by the motion transmission device when overcoming the pressing force generated by the clamping mechanism, during rotation in opposite direction and transfer back to one of positions for tightening and for loosening when rotation is stopped in opposite direction.

EFFECT: technical result consists in creation of reverse key for torque transmission.
