FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of adjusting the regeneration time of an adsorption dryer. Method comprises steps of adsorption drier being subjected to adsorption cycle; adsorption cycle is stopped after preset time interval of adsorption. Then it is subjected to the first regeneration cycle during preset time interval (Time3). First regeneration cycle is maintained for additional time interval (TE1) regeneration. Dew point or relative humidity is measured, which must be higher than preset threshold dew point under pressure or relative humidity. Said first regeneration cycle is recomposed if temperature (temp1) at the outlet is higher than or equal to a predetermined threshold temperature value, and if the time interval during which the adsorption dryer is subjected to said first regeneration cycle is greater than the minimum time interval (THeat min) of regeneration with heating.
EFFECT: invention provides optimized use of energy based on the current state of the adsorption dehydrator throughout the drying cycle.
