FIELD: adsorption desiccation of gas in gas production, chemical and other branches of industry.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus has vertical cylindrical casing 1 with end walls and intermediate cassettes 4. Perforated shell with inner and outer perforations is axially positioned within casing so as to define gap between perforated shell and casing wall. Perforated shell consists of hollow cylindrical interconnected cassettes 3, 4, 5 filled with adsorbent and equipped on their outer and inner contour with replaceable frames having fine cleaning nets and power nets. Filters 15, 16, 17 are placed within cylindrical cassettes in axially aligned relation with respect to casing. Upper end wall of cylindrical casing is made in the form of detachable cover 12 with process hatch 14, adsorbent charging hatches 13 and gas exit branch pipe provided therein. View hatch provided in lower part of cylindrical casing has condensate removal device 11 and adsorbent discharge hatches 8 equipped with netted frames. Adsorbent discharge hatches 8 are connected through branch pipes 9 with internal part of cylindrical casing. Gas admission branch pipe and view hatches 10 are provided on side surface of cylindrical casing.

EFFECT: increased technological effectiveness and enhanced reliability in operation of construction of apparatus, substantially reduced production costs, and increased dynamic capacity at optimum gas dynamic resistance.
