FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processes of non-ferrous metallurgy and can be used in processing of alkali aluminosilicate raw materials, in particular nepheline ores. Method of controlling charge preparation during processing of nepheline raw material with production of alumina and soda products includes change of flow rate of nepheline ore, limestone and recycled carbonate solution for production of charge. Limestone and alkali modules of charge are determined proceeding from specified values of limestone and alkaline modules of sinter and taking into account change of content of calcium oxide in limestone and aluminum oxide in nepheline ore, calculated on the basis of results of thermodynamic analysis of conversion of raw components. Value of limestone and alkaline modules of charge is obtained by summation of design module with correction, which takes into account change of values of limestone and alkaline modules of sinter and corrections, taking into account change of content of calcium oxide in limestone and aluminum oxide in nepheline ore.
EFFECT: invention increases quality of sinter and commercial output of alumina due to rapid control of modular characteristics of charge.
